I embarked on writing my debut novel, along with its sequels, at the age of eleven. I began publishing these stories during my senior year of high school and continued throughout my college years, under the pen name S.C. Lauren. My Pirate Series comprises five books, catering to both middle-grade and young adult audiences.

I began my career in ghostwriting after graduating from Gordon State College in 2014 (BA English Literature). Over the next decade, I worked with hundreds of clients, helping them to bring their stories to life.
In 2023, I made the jump from strictly ghostwriting to book coaching. Book coaching allows me to work more directly with my clients, helping them to grow their skills along the way.
I now partner with Metis Creative Consulting, a literary arts agency. This allows me to help my clients through every part of the creative process: concept, outlining, first drafts, content editing, line editing, proofreading, interior formatting, cover design, publishing, and marketing.
I feel incredibly fortunate that my younger brothers have tied the knot with some of my favorite fellow book lovers.
